Dear Friend,

WELCOME TO LOTSA COMMUNITY WORKS

New this month:
Over the course of our history at Lotsa Helping Hands, more than 500 Communities have been created to help our nation’s military families. At Lotsa, we're humbled and proud to power caring Communities that bring volunteers together to send care packages, deliver meals and organize home repairs and renovations for military personnel and their families. We regularly hear from interested volunteers who want to help a military family, veteran, or active duty service member. Whether you want to help a military family you know, or lend a hand in your town or neighborhood, you can get involved through Lotsa. Read on for three ways you can learn more.

  1. Read about Communities helping military families over at our Story Project Page. Sarah Miller, whose younger brother was deployed to Afghanistan, created Joe’s Army Angels. Sarah and her friends and family organize sending care packages to her brother’s 14 platoon members through their Lotsa Community. And Celine, of Celine’s Helping Hands, gets help from her friends and neighbors as she cares for her three young daughters while their father is deployed.

  2. View our Help on the Homefront Webinar. This week we shared how organizations and families interested in serving our nation's military families can help using Lotsa. In case you missed the webinar, visit our webinar page to have a listen.

  3. Find inspiration from our ‘We’re So Grateful’ board on Pinterest. We’ve been pinning images and articles on Pinterest as a way to honor the millions of servicemen and women and their families who sacrifice so much for our freedom.
Read on for the latest blog posts, news of our upcoming webinars and tips for using our features of the service. Thanks for reading and passing this on to others you love.

     From our Community to yours,

          Hal Chapel, Co-Founder & CEO
